Chapter 16
Red starts to look around for his trainer badges around Celadon city. Afterwards spotting Team Rocket grunts walking around his area. Red eavesdrops on both of the grunts and over hears their plan of finding Green as well. Red distracts one of them and knocks them out so that he may disguise himself as one of the Team Rocket members. Red then follows the other grunt into the "Rocket Game" building which hosts casino games. One of the head leaders unravels a poster on a wall and clicks on a button which leads to a stairway. Red quickly takes a glimpse around and finds the development of Mewtwo which is quite deformed and only has half its body at the moment. Team Rocket then discusses a way to take a "disc" that Green had stolen that had key information on Mew. Team Rocket quickly finds Green on their radar, and surrounds her. Green throws the disk up into the air and allows Wartortle to catch it and warns Team Rocket that if they came any closer, her Wartortle would eat the disk. Team Rocket quickly bombards her with random Pokemon attacks, but all of which fail to capture Wartortle. Wartortle is finally beaten by a Tauros and plops the disk out of its mouth and into one of the hands of a Team rocket member. Green switches out and sends out a Ditto, but Tauros quickly charges at her. And for some reason all the Pokemon that Team Rocket owns attacks them. Red and Green quickly escape the area. Ditto turns into a Jigglypuff and starts to fluff away into the air causing a quick escape. Team Rocket brushes off the attack and only focuses and the re-captured disk, but later in another seen Green explains to Red that she has switched it with a fake disk. To be continued....
