Happiness
Happiness as a mechanic/ a necessity for the evolution of certian Pokemon; is well displayed throughout all Pokemon games. In almost all the Pokemon games there's always one house within the region containing one person who can study how much happiness a Pokemon may or may not have. The Poketch allows you to simply tap on whatever Pokemon is on your team and check its happiness. Here's a bunch of Pokemon that need happiness to evolve.
